ATPneumatics Configuration

Configuration of the ATPneumatics CSC itself is performed via modification of the INI files located on the cRIO device. These parameters have already been optimized and any modification should be extremely rare and done very carefully. A description of the configuration is found in the User Manual.

The configuration of the pneumatics system that is of more general interest to the user is the look-up tables that are used to control the pressure underneath the mirrors as a function of elevation. These operations are handled by the ATAOS (Auxiliary Telescope Active Optics System) which sends the mirror pressures to the ATPneumatics CSC. Details on how these tables are made, specifically for the M1 system, is found in technote tstn-012.
